 Capt. John Sanders

Captain John Sanders has been at the Polk County Sheriff's Office for 18 years. In those 18 years Captain Sanders has moved up the chain of command over the years. Captain Sanders started his career with the Polk County Sheriff's Office in the jail as a Deputy Jailer. Captain Sanders then moved to the patrol division as a patrol Deputy. Once in Patrol Captain sanders moved to patrol Sergeant and then patrol lieutenant. In August of 2005 he then moved to patrol Captain. Captain Sanders Also served two years at the Livingston Police Department. You may

Lt. Randy Bridges

Lt. Randy Bridges is a 27 year veteran of law enforcement. Lt. Randy Bridges supervises the day to day operations of the patrol division. He has been a TCLEOSE instructor for 14 years and helps oversee the continuing education requirments for the Sheriff's Office. He proudly serves the Polk County Sheriff's Office Special Response Team. Lt. Bridges is assigned to the day shift Mon-Fri and can be reached by telephone or email.

Sgt. Perry Alexander has been with the Polk County Sheriff's Office for 8 years. Sgt. Alexander started his law enforcement career here at the Polk County Sheriff's Office as a reserve Deputy for a year and a half. Sgt. Alexander has been with the patrol division since he started. Deputy David Ramsey

Deptuty Ramsey has been working for the Polk County Sheriff's Office for 5 years. Deputy Ramsey started at the Polk County Sheriff's Office as a jailer. He then moved to  Deputy transport officer after graduating from the Angelina College Police Academy. After serving in transport for 8 months he moved to the Patrol Division. Deputy Ramsey also has a College Degree in Criminal Justice from  Sam Houston State University. Deputy Ramsey is assigned to the mid shift. You may reach Deputy Ramsey by email or phone.

Deputy Christian Schanmier

Deputy Schanmier has been employed at the Polk County Sheriff's Office for 2 years. He worked as a Jailer at the Polk County Sheriff's Office while attending the Angelina Community College Police Academy. Once he graduated the academy he moved into the patrol division. He has also served in the United States Army from March 2001 to March 2005 and served one year in Iraq. He was the #2 Medic in his medical platoon.
