It's no secret that that the world today is far different from the way it was only a generation ago. Just turn on the news and you'll find the evidence of a society that has had to learn to alter its lifestyle because of increased crime. We, as a community, can no longer wait in hope of seeing changes. We must affect a change.

We, at the Polk County Sheriff's Office have decided to put a system into effect that was started by Wise County Sheriff's Office. As we all know that our County cannot afford to put a Deputy on every corner, the Polk County Sheriff's Office Wise Eyes Program can provide a safe and much needed  "neighborhood" watch for the County.

The Polk County Sheriff's Office Wise Eyes Program is intended to aid the Polk County Sheriff's Office and surrounding law enforcment agencies in being aware of suspicious activity, but should never be cause to put yourself in harm's way. Thank you for committing to this project - to serve as your community's eyes and ears.
